A Project for Recycling Vegetable Waste Oils Launched in Fethiye

In Fethiye, Muğla, with the support of Habitat Recycling, the proceeds from vegetable waste oils will be used for street animals and to purchase saplings for contributing to nature.

The “Vegetable Waste Oil to Nature” project was launched with the support of the Nature Friend Association and Habitat Recycling and Environmental Industry and Trade Limited Company.

During the promotional meeting held at Şefika Pekin Girls’ Vocational High School, Gökçen Gökmen Bayram, President of the Nature Friend Association, stated that the proceeds from the vegetable waste oils collected from households would be spent on street animals and saplings would be purchased to contribute to nature. Bayram emphasized that their goal was to raise public awareness about recycling.

After the presentation, 19 liters of vegetable waste oil were donated to the association. With the support of Habitat Recycling in Fethiye for collecting vegetable waste oils, saplings were gifted to the students who attended the presentation.
