Continuing its efforts for environmental sensitivity, Tuşba Municipality has signed a protocol to ensure the effective collection and recycling of vegetable waste oils. Under the protocol, signed to turn an environmental problem into an advantage, vegetable waste oils from homes, schools, and catering factories within the Tuşba Municipality boundaries—oils that pose a significant threat to environmental cleanliness and human health—will be collected by Habitat Recycling Environmental Industry and Trade Limited Company. After collection, these oils will be converted into fuel at production facilities. The cooperation protocol was signed by Tuşba Mayor Salih Akman and Habitat Recycling representative Cebrail Duran.
